It's coz of the soul... no one found the exact location of soul in human body.. (a shame on scientists!)!
Bt, 1 cud feel the presence of soul all over the body. It's right.., All those factors 4 living like O2, water, food, shelter, blood, heart, brain, nerves etc etc etc .... r there 4 a dead one too... Bt no one knows where life comes and goes..!

By taking oxugen through breathing and passing on to the blood to get purified which gives energy along with digested food and helps for you to walk, talk and physcially exert. Of course, brain serves as the control system.

Oxygen helps a lot, biology has a bit to do with it, creation could be argued into the point, babies are born from a mother's "special" place where Daddy put his love seed to grow. I'm trying to cover all the bases are you question is rather abstract.

Human beings are alive because they breath.
To be precise, we breath in (inhale)oxygen & breath out (exhale) carbondioxide. The day we stop breathing we are no more alive.

because we are some kind of plague, we reproduced as one and we take every inch we can for us and destroy all the resources, so when we finish destroying everything we will be extint, and that is going to happened because we are not an intelligent species, but one who has some abilities like talking and abstracting, consciousness, etc but we are like flies they go blindly to the light even if they die and us go in the same way for the money and the power above our equals
