In September of 1997 Disney had a new cartoon series released called 101 Dalmatians: The series. The show blend of referances from the 1996 remake of 101 Dalmatians and the original animated film.

Some of the characters from the original film were featured such as: Patch, Rolly, Captain, Duchess, Princess, Tibbs, Towser, Pongo & Perdy etc...

Some of the live action characters were also featured such as:

Whizzer, Dipstick, Two-tone, Jewel, Fidget etc...

Other characters such as:

Penny and Freckles weren't mentioned or seen in the series(from what I've seen).

Although I'm not sure if Penny and Freckles are seen or mentioned in the cartoon series.

The show ran for at least two seasons and ended around early 1998, I was 5 around the time the show first aired. Now I'm 15 and it's still my all time favorite cartoon show, I have most of the episodes on tape and watch them when I have the chance.

Does anyone think this show should come back on the air or not?

101 Dalmatian should never be broadcasted - movie or the series.

The problem is with the flood of parents giving into their children's demend for such dog. Dalmatian is a great dog but not for family with children. A 8 week old puppy is about 15lb or so but by 5 month old, they are about 50 lbs. They are playful and high energy. Most families are not ready to handle them.
They will end up in the shelter or put to death if no one adopts them. The cycle repeats itself every time Disney release something new with 101 Dalmatian.

I own a Dal and I love them.

inspite of the certainty that I trust the different posters that it became right into a fad from the Walt Disney action picture, I would desire to disagree with the posts that one and all Dals. chew. I even have very own 2 Dals, certainly one of with would be 12 this spring. i'm able to assure you they weren't appropriate. yet have been although if like sunlight hours and dark. My husband and that i had the two because they have been puppies, and correctly previously we've been married and had little ones. I now have a three 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous and a million a million/2 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous infant. The dogs by no ability have been disillusioned with the youngsters, and that i'm able to assure you, they carry throughout Max ( my different Dal had to be positioned down final March). Charlie surpassed, and that i'm able to declare during his lifetime, he became into obdurate and by no ability listened to something. in any respect! ( he wasn't deaf, in basic terms slightly of a jerk) Max, on the different hand has been the sweetest dogs. One could no longer ask for something extra. We take him with us on an analogous time as traveling and he does fantastic. he's rather protecting of our relatives . i won't be able to say they do no longer artwork properly with childrens, as we've had a good adventure, even pondering they have been with us a good 7-8 years previously the youngsters got here alongside. In Max's older age i'm having subjects with ear infections, and epidermis issues. My vet informed me the ear project is a Dalmation project, and the floor an infection is from older age. The maximum cancers element i'm annoying approximately because Charlie had it. terrific of success. be at liberty to touch me for to any extent further archives.
