looking back on laws, religions, and moral codes, etc.:
something "right" generally entails unselfish ways, benefiting others, and good intentions
something "wrong" - selfish gain, harming others, and purposely baring malicious intent

That depends on which perspective you are looking at about right and wrong. If you are to analyze the definition to see if something is right or wrong, you can use this analogy:

If you want to do something will it effect others in a good manner or negative manner? If negative it is wrong, If positive then it could be right.

Will it be harmful to you? If it is then it is wrong. Will it help you? then it is right. Will it make your life more better and enhance your life and others? If the answer is yes then it could be right.

Would you like someone else to do it to you? If the answer is yes then it is right.

There you go. Think before you do something answer these questions and most 99% of the time you will make the right choice.

Right = what any one would accept, or agree if it happened to them.

Wrong= what every one would refuse or disagree if it happened to them.

It is wrong to harm anybody. Do not do unto others that which you would not want done unto you. That is all.
