I have been on prenatal vitamins for 2 months, off pill for 2 as well. Is it necessary to go to doctor before you start TTC??

YES I did . It is good to get a preconc. exam . Plus you know if this Dr is for you . Also take your prenatal with you to make sure they are the ones you need . Good luck to all .

I did, and I would recommend it. They will just check everything is OK. They will also probably draw some blood to make sure you don't have toxoplasmosis, or any other conditions that could affect the baby. If you do, then they can treat it with antibiotics before you try to conceive. I think it is worth it for the peace of mind. It is better to be safe then sorry (and miscarry for example).
