Every era needs ( or at least seems to have ) a celeb to love hating, and in the case of those who do admire/love her, to decree their undying devotion to.
She fufills, how ever shallow it may be, an icon to vent our frustrations about how materialistic we've become, or to some an often unobtainable goal of that very materialism.
She'll more than likely never hear the voices of those who love or hate her, and in end, is kind of pitiful, no matter how rich,famous,or beautiful she may seem.
I for one, find her highly amusing...as noted she makes the lives of comedians the world over much easier, her Hollywood vaneer quite easy to poke at. And this, I solemenly swear will be the last question I answer in regards to Miss Hilton.
