Just like any other animal camels need to drink also. A camel just has the ability to hold a lot of water and go longer periods of time between drinks, but they still have to drink or they will die.

A camel drinks about 60 gallons of water and so it can go about a few hundreds of mile before it needs to rest and drink another 60 some gallons of water. If it can't find any water, it'll probably die after a couple of days extended from the water needed expiration days.
