Whatever you see "out there", in the world you interact with, is a reflection of something within yourself. Love in you produces love in your life. Same thing with hate or any other mindset.

The world is only dominated by negative things like hate because people don't understand what's going on here. If they discover the source of the negative in themselves, love will spring forth in their lives automatically. It will still be in the scenes on TV, though--if you continue to watch it (which I don't).

Love is what's left when you remove the bad stuff.

Love is fulfilled in the world only as people, one at a time, discover it within themselves. When you find it for yourself, you won't see hate dominating the world, even though other people will.

Love always wins in the end, because in the end love is all there really is. Everything negative is only a corruption or distortion of that basic value.

You can right wrongs because right (love) is all that really is.

You only see so much hate because that is what makes the headlines. You should read Worldwalk. I'm not sure who wrote it, but it's about a man who walked around the world with two things in mind: to see the world up close and personal, and to see if goodness still exists. The day he returned home four years later, he told his audience that goodness still does exist. I think the problem is that you just don't hear about it. I've been to eight or nine countries this year and I'll tell you that goodness is definitely prevalent.

Just the fact that you asked your question shows that there are people (like yourself) who care about having a world where life is based on love - When I reflect upon your question I think about what Saint Paul said in the bible about love (Corinthians, book one - chapter 13, verse one ) - Saint Paul said:

"Love is patient - love is kind"

I try to ask myself when I am feeling really 'pissed-off' in a situation if I am being patient or kind - and usually I'm not so I try hard to remember Saint Paul's 'words' and try again and I figure that life is basically a learning process and that Jesus is forgiving and loves us (sins and all ).
