not for a long time unfortunately. I used to be a hardcore knicks fan. Then they started making the worst decisions as far as trades and drafts and free agents around 2001-2002. That's the point when i said screw it and have been boycotting them since. Its not the losing, i can deal with that for periods, its just that they make such awful decisions. They need to get a completely new front office. Not Isiah, not Dolan. They need someone who is more of an unknown. Someone who isn't going to try and prove themselves to the world. They need to wait things out for about 5 years or so, till most of their contracts are gone. Until then they should develop young talent, and build up with role players as much they can. Once the contracts are gone, they'll either be able to bring in a star OR since they'll have 5 years of awfulness behind them; field a starting five made completely of top overall draft choices.

When they get a real GM, trade off their over-priced, no talent players and get real talent without breaking the bank, and bring in a coach like Rick Adelman or Paul Silas and give them 5 years to develop and turn things around. I'll say it again, Isiah Thomas will be fired after the first 30 games of the season if the Knicks don't have a winning record and/or after the All-Star break, GUARANTEED! The real question you should be asking is who'll want that mess once it's ready to be cleaned up?

When they stop making terrible decisions. Isiah Thomas was a great player, but appears to be wasting a lot of time and money in NY. He should be canned. The Knicks also should show Marbury the door and find some players whose egos can be sublimated for the good of the team. In other words, not soon.

Well, even when you fire Isiah Thomas, you are still stuck with the salary cap killing contracts from the past 5 years. With that in mind, your franchise (or what's left of it) will be crippled for the next 5 years. This will make it impossible for the Knicks to even considering of signing franchise player.
But, if you drag Isiah out of retirement and put a Knicks suit on him....this just might work. Anyway, you will still have Orlando Blackman...oh Renaldo Balkman.

Try this upcoming season! I'm not even a Knicks fan but I believe that they will rebound and make it into the playoffs as one of the bottom 3 seeds.

the knicks suck, the end...
they should trade or release every single player, fire every single coach, gm, equipment manager, everyone, and start over.
