Has anyone ever attended this school, if so, what has your experience been. I have heard they are on probation and may lose their accreditation if they don't pass the upcoming review. Know anything about this?

I didn't go to AIU, but I went to University of Phoenix. My warning is more about financial aid than anything. The structure for on-line schools is weird. After three classes, my aid ran out and they wanted $2000 before the fourth class. Needless to say, when you make under 20K, that is not an option. They were not up front about the cost at all.

Just ask a lot of questions before you start.

I have attended, the classes are pretty decent and very interactive. But the school is expensive and way overpriced for what you can get at your local community college. They are real big pushers and will not quit bugging you til you enroll. Do your research before making this move.

you are so right and Phoenix online is owned by the same company that owns AIU. Be careful, very careful.
