Clean the spywear off of it. That slows it down tremendously.

Try running Spy Bot, its free to a search for it. You can also try going to start, run, type msconfi, then enter. Disable start up items. Then restart your comp.
Assuming you have a PC with Windows OS.
I do this on my system and it works fine.

Use a program called CCleaner to clean up your cookies, fix your registry and keep certain items from starting up w/Windows. You may also want to change your memory cache. Control Panel-system-advanced tab-performance options. Don't set it too high, it uses some of the hard drive memory like ram.

depends what you mean by slow. If its the net then it could be your download speed, maybe the nets busy.
if its your computer maybe you've got to many programs open, and it cant cope. It could be you need more RAM, check out this site if that's the case

u didnt giv me enuf information like how and what did u do to it b4 it become like this. Maybe it is caused by overheating? Overheating at the motherboard can causes this and thus, freezes ur com. And maybe ur hard disk is full. Or maybe virus had entered ur com...
