Student of what? When will you finish? Like, if you're a nursing student with a year to go or less, you're in real good shape. You should be able to pay it off in 2 years max.
On the other hand, if you're a sophomore Philosophy major, your best chance is buying lottery tickets.
In sum, worry about the grades and graduating, then attack the debt.

Myself, I'm also a student in debt. I'm actually $124,000 in debt with student loans.
I hold down a blue collar job. I'm going to have to request a forebearance on the mandatory $850.00 a month loan repayment. I need to work more overtime! And also stop shopping and spending my money impulsively!

Look for a better job. Continue to pay on your debt, but look for one of the companies that can help you resolve debt that are advertised on TV or you might find on the Internet. There are companies that can arrange for a payment plan where the interest is stopped--debt consolidation.

Look for another job, cut up the credit cards and give yourself a budget for the week. If you spend it all before the next week tough it out.
