i have bad dreams almost every night. i thought it was due to some meds that i was on but when i stopped taking them the dreams continued. last night i had another where my face was infected n falling apart. is there anything i can do besides sleeping with someone, that can help my bad dreams go away.???

i never show anyone that i'm about to have a heart attack , in my dreams i jus act like nothing is bothering me. if my teeth r falling out(i have natually perfect white teeth) so i may be having a heart attact in my dream but i won't let anyone see me panic. maybe it is something i'm going thru in my day to day life---maybe it shows that although i'm usually stressed or depressed and lonely--i don't tell anyone i jus act like and talk to everyone as if nothing is wrong.

This is what I know about bad dreams.

1. We all have dreams (good and bad), but we only remember the ones where we wake up during the dreaming. Therefore, you are waking up during the bad dream, if you had to stay asleep, then you would not remember them (and that is essentially what you want - i.e. wot you dont know about wont hurt you.) So make sure that you have as comfortable as possible surroundings and environment where you sleep (i.e. comfy bed, no loud noises, etc.)

2. Dreaming is a way for your mind to process thoughts and concerns that you have. Usually, there is a relationship between the dream and something that is happening in your life. Therefore, accept the dreams as a natural process that your mind needs to deal with. It is healthy (though can be scary), i.e. if the mind needs to do it then let it do it so that it can get over it when it is ready.

3. Try not to worry too much about events in your life. Try (this is really hard) to look at the big picture, i.e. seeing your problems in perspective. Most of us focus so much on our problems and make such a big deal of them, when, if we had to compare them to real problems, our problems would fade into insignificance and we would just smile.

4. Smile :)

Consult a Physcologist or Phyciritisrt (I'M REALLY SORRY ABOUT MY SPELLING) Is there anything troubling you? Sometimes dreams are based on what you've experienced during the day. Or sometimes they have other meanings. Once I had this just very awful dream. And when I though about it closely it was similar to real life just scrambled up a bit. Nightmares and dreams are your brain's way of organizing itself... straightening out your thoughts and such. If you didn't have dreams your brain would be in total choas and you'd probably go insane. Its simple physcology. My mom has aa degree in it.

what kind of bad dreams do you usually have?
bad dreams usually result from recent experiences (that is something that you're stressed about), or your sleeping posture (like if you cross your feet when you sleep you will dream about that your feet is tied up or you're always running in your dream or perhaps always falling in your dream)
so best thing to do for now is make sure your sleeping posture is correct
make sure you sleep with your hands on the side, don't put your hands on your chest, never cross your feet, never put your hands anywhere near your face or underneath the pillow when you fall alseep
so try these first, and if they don't wotk, then get help on what you're stressed about

you may desire to make sure the needs, artwork out what the substantial factors interior the needs are. this could help you pin factor what that's on your existence that's effecting you. some people will dream of properties and getting caught or lost interior of it. - its taking the time to analise what that's on your place that's effecting you.. Then going returned over it in waking existence and start up making small differences. many of the time our desires will help us face issues in our existence we never concept we could.

Maybe you are getting overheated, I found when I was younger I always had nightmares when I got too hot while asleep. I think it scrambles your brain a bit.
