Complete and total humiliation. To be in the thick of it going into the weekend and then just fading out by Monday is just awful. And to get your butt kicked so badly in front of your own fans must have sucked too! The season is not over yet, so anything is still possible.

Alot. Boston sucks. They were 4.5 games ahead of the Yankees just a few weeks ago and now they are 6.5 games BEHIND the Yankees. oh boy the yankees are hot now.. lol

it just made it very pointedly clear what all the sox fans had been afraid of all season. except for Schilling (and Papelbon, pre-August), our pitching sucks.
There's always next year. I can just go back to cheering for whatever other team will kick the Yankees' asses.

THE YANKS CRACKED THE SOX. THIS MIGHT SEND THE SOX REELING OUT OF THE PLAYOFFS. BLAME THE GM HE HUNG THEM OUT TO DRY. HE DOESN'T WANT TO TRADE ANY OF THEIR YOUNG PITCHERS FOR PROVEN TALENT. NOW HE HAS TO LIVE WITH IT.
