For a normal adult 6-8 hours of sleep is sufficient

It's proven that based on your age, a certain amount of sleep is required for you to function properly. 8 hours of sleep is enough and the time of night that you are turning in aren't that crazy.
Some people are even better with less than 8 hours of sleep. Everyone has individual sleep patterns and needs, and whatever you are doing, if you feel good and are not showing signs of sleep deprivation, I would say it's fine. There's also studies on napping, and there are "power nap bars", in New York City. I live in the Middle East and people nap here from 1-4, or after work from 6-7:30 or so. I'm not a napper but it's a common thing here.

As long as you get the sleep your body needs, why not? But think about the shock on your body clock when you'll have to go to work!
Besides, if you just roam around or sit in front of a computer screen all night, it seems to me you might have some some sort of sleeping disorder. I suppose it also depends on your age: When I was younger, I had the same sort of pattern but now I doze off in front of the TV around 11.30 PM

i think its fine to be homest, there is some research that people who work shifts have a shorter life span due to the disrupted sleep pattern however you sleep when you need to therefore you are following your natural pattern.

i my self am occasionally an insomnac sleeping alternate nights and i manage fine.

the eight sleep and going to bed at 10pm waking at six is essentially just a social pattern due to people work patterns and home lives.

i would not worry at all
sleep well

No. Not so long as you are still getting the required hours of sleep. i.e eight hours sleep.People who are in jobs which requires them to work shift , often have a similar sleep pattern.

yes and no.

on some degrees yes, it is okay. you'll get some rest anyways since you have 8 hours of sleep. it is no since your body follows a pattern, and as much as possible needs to sleep early on the night.
