Traditionally, Republicans have always and forever been for the rich and powerful and, as it turns out, they are the Republican
party's supporters. What better supporters to have than the rich and powerful. And, guess what the rich and powerful get that the average John Doe does not get. Yep, that is right. The rich and powerful Republicans do not go to war and they actually get justice in the courts bacause they can hire the "dream team". And, as far as war is concerned, it's the same thing. Who wants to lose a loved one in a war? Noone. But, the rich and powerful as well as members of their political party have ways to prevent their loved ones from going. That is what it is all about. Wars are fought with the blood of the average and poor. That is just the way it is.

I always find it idiotic to start pointing fingers at people in public service who did not serve in the military. Currently less than 1% of our current population is in the service and less than 15% ever were. That includes members of both parties. People are entitled to their opinion and not serving in the military does not take it away. Clinton moved to England to avoid being in the service and then protested America while there!!!! Where were you then? Very few of the people listed are even in government.
How many of the news writers in the 60's or 70's who wrote against the Vietnam war served themselves. You are just trying to divide Americans rather than come up solutions to problems yourself.
