Your question implies that you believe "Republicans like to send American kids to their death in Iraq." I personally would not live in a country with such a policy - I would have the guts to simply move the hell out. I would not live in a country that wasn't willing to retaliate with extreme force after being attacked on their own soil by terrorists, again, I would move the hell out. I'm still here. If you truly believe our present administration likes to see American soldiers killed and maimed by Islamic Fascists - then you truly are in need of professional help.

What about the Kids that Clinton sent to Bosnia in 1995. BTW Dean urged Clinton to act unilaterally and send troupes to Bosnia.
Those kids joined the military and probably have more guts than you ever will.

They are sending American men and women to do what the Democrats were too scared to do, defend our country. Our military doesn't have kids by the way, these patriots have volunteered to do what you are obviously incapable of doing... serving your country. They are men and women. Hey you're obviously a democrat... why don't you take some advise from a fellow democrat... "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country." You probably don't even know who said it.

Why is this such a surprise ? . This isn't the first political war America has been involved in. Remember Vietnam.
America has a tendency to go to war without a plan. They should get the Brits to run their military as they are more experienced and better at it.

No one, Republicans or otherwise, wants to send their children to Iraq to fight for your freedom, your right to keep your head on because those who would take it off would gladly use Iraq as a launch pad to doing so.

18 year olds aren't children, and those "kids" choose to go on their own free will. Republicans didn't force them to join the military, and there are many countries that do force 18 year old males to join the military. America is not one of them.
