In my opinion,yes.I believe they should.However,we cannot tell them what to do as they seem to do as they please anyway.If they dont feel they can confide in you or talk to you about things they are just going to hide it and do it anyway.More than likely then,they arent going to be prepared or aware of the risks.I think parents should not be ashamed to talk to their young ones about sex.It is natural,however if that were the case and the younger teens were aware of the risks involved in sex that they would wait.Most of the time,they regret having sex at a young age.I believe that they should wait,and if they arent then they need to be educated on the risks and consequences of sex.Also,they need to be prepared with the proper protection.

Absolutely. Having sex with someone complicates things even for adults. Young people especially girls have a hard time with the emotions afterwards.I've always told my girls each person you have sex with you are giving that person a part of yourself. Not just physically but emotionally as well. Young boys are horny little boys and don't usually care to much about emotions. No matter what they say. When you do decide to make sure this guy is the kind of person that deserves that kind of commitment from you. You really are giving away something special especially the first time. Don't let it be a situation you will always regret when you get older. My daughter was 18 the first time and talked to me about it first. I think she wishes now she would have waited til marriage as she doesn't date the boy anymore. Waiting for marriage is best. I know nowadays that is not very realistic. Young people are in such a hurry to grow up. Enjoy your youth while you can. Becoming an adult will happen soon enough and then you will wish you could be a youngster again. Good Luck and God Bless.

I totally agree kids should wait before they have sex, to many teens out in this world getting them self pregnant and then having to deal with there boy leaving them which means a single mom. i blame this on peer pressure. But sometimes we have to blame the parents for this one just the simple fact that we don't approach them enough and talk about sex and the problems about having a baby at a young age. Young moms sometimes can't finish school have to go on walfare to survive and sometimes thats not enough, some girls give there body for exchange for money to survive which leads into doing drugs and hurting them selves.Losing there child because they can't take care of it i can go on about the disadvantages of giving yourself young. But we as parents have to step in somewere

yes, im 17 and i want to wait until im married. especially after i heard about new research that shows the first person u make love to u form a special bond with that can never b replicated, i want that person to b the one im goign to spend the rest of my life with.

yes, kids should wait until they are mature to "give it up". Sex doesn't just involve the phsyical aspect, but an emotional component too. That's why you should wait until your older to do it.

you just answered your own question.....if your talking about yourself, you see yourself still as a KID. I don't know 1 KID that has sex, you wait until you are an ADULT!
