No. They have repeated many times they are not going to stop what they are doing. Flat out. They will not negotiate. Their Koran tells them to basically kill or convert all non-believers and wipe all religions from the Earth but Islam. Spend a while an do the research yourself. I just do not know how people can ignore the fact their Holy writings tell them to do so and we pass it off nothing substantial..

An excellent question. The United States has its hands full with Iraq and Iran knows it. We would not be negotiating from a position of strength, and we would probably be negotiating pretty much alone. Western Europe and Russia appear to be indifferent to the threat of a possible Iranian capability of giving nuclear weapons to Islamic Terrorists, and Iran knows this, too. The UN seems powerless to prevent them from pursuing their present course. Unfortunately, I don't see how Iran has any incentive to stop their nuclear programs - diplomacy or otherwise - and this is not a good situation. Obviously, diplomacy will run it's course before military intervention is even considered - but with the present mood in America, military action may not even be an option. I personally believe an Iran with nuclear weapons would be a very serious security concern for the whole world. All we can do is see how it plays out, and hope for the best.

I don't see a mililtary invasion, although I couldn't totally rule one out.
I believe the United States will not invade Iran unless we have a fairly large coalition with us and I don't see that happening in the near term.
We will try diplomacy first. We may look into other means of dealing with the Iranians through clandestine operations or air strikes, but I don't see land forces being involved any time soon.

You shouldnt - we shouldnt accept invasion as a foregone conclusion.
We are asking for big trouble by our militant stance that holds no room for negotiations. We cannot defeat the world nor ram down the throats of eveyone on the planet our plan to exist. We'd better start listening and start trying to correct some of the grievances that are behind the unrest.
For example Tony Blair has tried to convince Washington to get Israel on the right foot to solve the Palestinian problem or should I say solve the Israeli problem.
But Bush has done nothing and Israel is as belligerant as ever and the Palestinians are still being treated like the rats in the skinner box. Blair is in big trouble politically because of siding with Bush and committing to Iraq without solving the Palestinian
situation, As a result Britain is constantly put under attack by terrorists who are trying to send a message to Britain.
There're trying to message us too but hard-headed Bush thinks that he will find and kill all of the terrorists. when the answer is in Israels hands and those selfish a s s e s will not help us while we
overly support them to our own peril.

well if you look at a map of the region the U.S. has forces on two side of Iran already. they share a border with Iraq and Afghanistan. so the U.S. is poised to strike from two fronts. no diplomacy will help in this situation. i think this will lead to an all out declaration of war on Iran.

The means to invading Iran is different then Iraq. We simply provide arms to insurgents there who start battling the radical government - it will be an ugly fight but one between Iranians with our aid. Its only fair since they are doing this in Iraq, to Israel with Hezzbolah and feasibly with the Taliban in Afghanistan. Turn about is fair play.

It can be dealt with through diplomacy as it was possible in the cases of Iraq and Afghanistan.
But Bush has his own motives and time-lines, can't afford to wait long to fulfill his ulterior motives.
He enjoys physical capture of independent nations to own their natural resources.
The Beast in Bush, rules/controls his mind.

Force will be required.
Better not invade. Better to destroy all infrastructure with bombing then ask China to take control of the country.
