Why did Diddy sign Cassie to Bad Boy, despite the fact that she has no singing abilities (Did anyone see her live "performance" on 106 and Park) but gave Dannity Kane (the girls from Making the Band) hell, when they can sing and dance?

Maybe its because Cassie already had an idea what the life of a celebrity entailed...Being a model and all.
She didn't need the polishing and discipline training that the girls from Danity Kane did/do...
I'm just assuming all of this, seeing that I've never watched a single episode of their making the band....However, I do agree that Cassie can't sing...

I just think he signed Cassie because he thinks she cute. How old is this girl. I agree Dannity Kane can sing. I have been trying to get the CD and it is sold out every where.

because of his failures in creating past 'making the band' groups, he didn't want to have another flop like "da band". he's got a reputation to uphold in actually creating something. with cassie, she was simply a potential money maker on whom he took a risk in signing to do just that---make him money. on his part, it won't make him look as bad since he didn't put her together, coach her, etc... if danity kane turns out to be a flop, then he'll look like a huge @ss. (and it's true, cassie can't sing.)

properly technically she does have that celebrity high quality each label is after, she will dance and she or he has a greater advantageous voice than a lot of alternative artists obtainable....yet I ain't gonna lie there grow to be a distinctive "fuccin" motivation at the back of it. Regardless however I heard he's making plans on making her his "respected lady", so she could be doing some thing suited!
