Puppy mills are a terrible organization that take dogs (sometimes even stealing them from people's homes), and breed them to sell for animal testing. The animals are treated horribly, kept in small cages, malnourished, beaten, kicked, thrown, and killed if there is anything "wrong" with them.
I am fostering two puppies rescued from a Minnesota puppy mill (two daushunds).
For such a gross act of animal cruelty, I'm shocked more people don't know about it.
Fight this terrible atrocity!

Yes its horrible.Dogs teach us unconditional love. But in context
its no better or worse than the way some parents treat their children. Its wonderful about your rescue and your making others aware of these animals plight. We as humans sometimes do
horrible things to our fellow creatures and we should be ashamed. We should strive to leave this world a better place.
Remember in some cultures dogs are raised to be eaten.Sorry,
but that's a sad truth.Puppy mills are a symptom of greed.
Animal testing for medical research is a topic like abortion
that reasonable, well informed people will always disagree
on.So I think since puppy mills are a SYMPTOM of an under-
lying problem,GREED,eliminate greed and you will see no more
puppy mills,at least here in the U.S.Dogs raised for food is
a world hunger problem.

Puppy mills are horrible. I saw a segment about them on the Today Show this morning. Because of the deplorable conditions a mother dog killed the puppies in the next cage so the owner beat her within an inch of her life. The place was closed and the dogs rescued. They are deplorable places and should all be closed down.

I agree. Terrible thing, this and other mill-type operations that treat animals so cruelly.
I know this is extreme, and I am not a member, but Trent Reznor of NIN did a PSA about dog and cat slaughter for their fur. I don't have the url but I am sure it is easily found - it actually shows how they treat the animals when they arrive at the facility (still alive, mostly). It is shocking, horrifying, maddening and incredibly sad. I cried when I saw it . Horrible, horrible people who make their livings in this trade.

Hi ll37ragdoll, They need to burn down all the puppy mill, after they get the pets our of harm way.Put the people respondable for this terrible crime they are doing to all the pets.Put them in prison and never let the bastards out.I would like to beat the hell out of all those bastards who beat, kicked, thrown and killed these sweet little animals who has done no harm to anyone.Hunt theses dirty bastards down and tie a rope around their feet and drag them all the way to town. This whole thing really upsets me alot. You are a really nice person wanting to help out and you toke 2 little hot dogs in, to take care of these wonderful little guys. Are they going to adopt these little hot dogs out,or are you going to keep them??
What ever happens, they will be placed in a caring and loving home.Keep doing what your doing and alot of animals will love you for it.

Yes, they are horrible. Just ways for people to make money with no concern at all for the suffering animals.

there's kids going through that right now as i type this and yet no one seems to have a problem with it, I'm all for "protecting the innocent animals" as dumb as that sounds but people need to start worrying about people, then we can all stride towards a common goal and start to take care of other things even how unimportant they are.
