When you multiply 100 by .6
When you divide 100 by 5/3
When you subtract 40 from 100
When you add -40 to 100

100 * .6 = 60
100 / (5/3) = 60
100 - 40 = 60
100 + (-40) = 60

Please rephrase your question...

and some of the many probabilities would be
if you enter wrong then you will get 60 after you enter 100
if the system you are entering 100, is actually reading it as 60
if the system is tempered .. etc etc..........
