Neat freak for some things, slob on others. I like the way I am, I just wish everyone else would conform to my standards!

My heart is that of a neat freak,
but my character has left me a "wanna be " NEAT FREAK,
I Feel better, when things are in order, and i am constantly striving for that end result,
then the other personality takes over, and says "worry about that tomorrow,"
i have promised myself, that i will take exta moments, to make the bed, and sometimes i do, sometimes,
to go to sleep with everything clean and in order, and wake up to the house in perfect order,
then, after a couple days, i backslide, and have lost my determination,,
i am not disciplined good enough yet.. but i wont stop trying..
so i am half and half,
one thing for sure, i always have clean sinks/toilets bathrooms, and my trash is emptied before it falls on floor,
i vacuum, every day, because of german sheperd hair, etc,
but the payoff for being a neat freak, 24/7 is when company comes,
when it is half and half like me, "murphys law" takes over and i get visitors at the worst and messiest moment, and i feel awful,,
slob i am not, messy yes, although i always start off very neat,,
maybe someday, i will learn the ART OF BEING A NEATFREAK,

I am in between but if I had to choose I choose neatness. My husband was a slob but I am slowly converting him. After 5 years I would say, at least now he can not be called a total slob and he cleans up after I ask him to, and many times takes the initiative on his own.

I am a slob but I think neat freak is a better way to be. I can never find anything and I almost never invite anyone over.

Slob--which is OK with me but it bothers neat freaks. I never give wild parties either because I don't have anyplace to put anybody.

a neat freak with a slob brain i clean, scrub, organize all day i wish i could just go one day without feeling guilty if i dont get to wash the one dirty dish in the sink.

I am a slob - but I don't think either extreme is better - finding a good mid-point is what is best.

total neat freak here!.........I like the way I am but, I do tend to get on other peoples nerves because of how clean I keep things.
