Regarding your question about reservation status in INdian railways and the status of PNR etc. I suggest you to visit Indian railways official website wherein you will get all the information you required including berth availability, distance, time, different train enrouting the required station, price and other facilities. You can visithttp://www.indianrail.gov.in/. It is very easy and simple.

Apart from checking from Railway Website, you can also check up with IVRS of Indian Railway. The number for Delhi is 1330 and 1335.Keep your PNR handy when enquiring from 1330 and 1335.

You can find them in the indian railways website, i.e. www.indianrail.gov.in
And for PNR no. you have to go to the station and feed the PNR no. in the PNR machine placed there in the station.
But both the status of your reservation and PNR no. status in the web site mentioned above.
