Should he have been reelected? Why are other countries and their people all of a sudden more important than ours. The deficet is in some sad shape and he just keeps spending. Anyone else upset with this or am I rowing alone in this boat?

If a company such as Enron did fiscal things the Bush way, their leaders would be dead or in prison. Oh, wait they are.

Perhaps another example! The two greatest sources of income for the US are the income tax and the payroll tax which is roughly the same amount.

the social security portion of the payroll tax is used by the administration in the general fund, after they deposit "IOUs" in the Social Security fund.

By constrast, everyone's favorite punching bag of fiscal mismanagement, Mexico actually deposits the social security funds in the Bank of Mexico (Banamex) Banamex tracks the funds, adds interest payments and send regular statements to workers.

Check out the success of Chile with their Social Security surpluses.

If you think "The Decider" uses bad policy, you are not alone. But take a look at the answers you recieved. Do you think the answerers could get together and agree long enough to actually restrain their government?

He is economically destroying this country day by day. To the person who stated there are more jobs out there. NO ONE CAN MAKE MONEY WORKING AT A FAST FOOD CHAIN. Just because there are more McDonald's and Burger King's out there doesn't equal jobs going up with people being able to survive paycheck to paycheck.

TO COWBOYBILL: Get off your girlfriend...sorry...I mean horse, and stop with the stereotype that if people agree with bush, they are liberal tree-hugging people.

I don't want to get too political, but I agree that the current Administration's policies are very bad for the US economy in the long run. They keep beating everyone over the head about the terrorist threat, but the only way they have to 'look' like they are doing anything is to spend money... this strategy worked for them in the past two federal elections and so it won't stop now.

Don't be a lemming, either way. repeating others propaganda does nothing to fix any problems. as for my own educated opinion. No one person can do that much damage. Has he made bad choices? Yes, good ones, Yes. Will the country survive him, Yes. History will not be written by us in the long run, so sit back, enjoy the ride and just be nice to each other.

The price of freedom isn't cheap. Both in lives and cash.

Yes. Not all of a sudden. This has gone on since WWI. How is his spending any different from the a-typical Democrat? It really isn't. He simply dosn't fit the typical Republican cut spending type.

If you are a Democrat then this should be par for the course.

Maybe he's smarter than we think? I don't know, his grand dad was the financier of the nazi party from what I've hear from others. My theory is it could be nazi's are a moving party put in place, steal all your money, cause a bunch of trouble and then when your destroyed, they move on to another place to wreak havoc.

It would be fantastic if people actually took the time to actually understand what the deficit really is before they go spewing liberal propaganda that they heard from their dad or some guy on the street without knowing what the hell they are talking about.
