There are way too many variables for there to be a certain fate. A person would have to be true to themselves from the minute they are born, and let their conscious (spirit) guide them through every moment of their life for there to be the exact outcome.

I don't believe it is a chosen fate. I believe we all are sent here with a chosen path to follow. It is up to us to find out what that path is. I guess some would call it fate.

I don't know if it is nesessarily chosen. I think we are led down a path and we make decisions which way to turn. Everything happens for a reason. From big things to little things. Life is a mystery.

No, I don't we live to create our fate.
No matter where we born,
no matter how we borned,
no matter why we borned,
Fate is simply what we create.
Cause fate is something that happened because what "we" do now.
NOTE:
"We" means not only what your doing/did will effect what will happened to you, but what people around you doing/did will effect to your life too.

Yes. It can go in different directions though. You chose portions of your own path. But the outline is there. You have no basic control at all. Look at my file for my favorite Quote- from me. It's perfect for this.
