Find happiness within yourself.
Life has many chapters that is true, but sometimes we skip the ones that taught us the most.
If I would just read the ones that gave me enjoyment, I would only be reading less than half the book. I look at the book as a whole and how I became the person that I am. Good, bad, or indifferent, I am who I am. There will be no revisions at the end.

every day is different. its up to the person on how they react and what they learn from these events. no time is wasted in my opinion cuz no matter what you do your changing. nothing ever stops so why should you? theres an old Buddhist saying "attachment is the cause of all pain. live life as a dream" or somthing to that effect. nothings more true. its never the objects themselves but what meaning they have to us. at the same time if you live life in this fashion, it will be a dull and fruitless life. besides only you know how to attain true happiness.

We make our own happiness. Most people chose to live in the past, in their negatives, trying desperately to change what can't be changed. To be happy, you have to live in the present, and make the now be the best it can. Forget the past, it is over and done. Lessons learned, hopefully, but nothing more than that.
It sounds like you live a similar life. Good for you. Sorry about your friends. I know how it feels.

that's a good theory...
how abt this? u buy a bottle to fill papers inside. everyday before u do so, think if it's a good or a bad one. write all down & choose to put the happy one side, the sad another. if not, dun even include the sad ones. just leave the happy ones to last forever.
sorry abt ur lost though *hugs*

there is not any specific thank you to attain happiness in existence, because of the fact each physique is different. issues that make us satisfied are different and our perceptions of happiness are different. some people could be satisfied surrounded by skill of fabric wealth, some satisfied in a loving abode, and a few satisfied as a results of skill of finding in direction of a happier destiny. yet as a generality materialism isn't a direction to happiness - there are various of hindrances in the way - greed, jealousy, sloth, lust gluttony or perhaps destiny itself all conspire to convey misery to the materialist. getting to comprehend your inner thoughts, the type you spot your self and the type you spot high quality in existence, no count if it it with the aid of music, the humanities, studying, relationships with people, with the aid of journey or with the aid of secure practices or in spite of, this could be a good place to start up. the line you follow might besides be the line finding the brightest quite than in basic terms taking pot success or worse nonetheless following the herd.

You seem to have a pretty good and positive outlook on it. Do things to help others, share yourself with young people (all people i guess). Share your wisdom and positivity. Shine like the star you are. The glass is half full if not running over.
