If they aren't scared of them then why not give them rights?

It's called fear of the unknown. That's why they feel so uncomfortable when they're around gays and lesbians. What irks me is that some of these people will not take the time or have the will to learn about different people. They're set in their ways and they don't want to expand their little minds. It's so sad that people will hate others because they're different then themselves.

Because they are stupid. Some people are thinking it will rub off on them and make them homosexual. The problem most people have is they put tooo much emphasis on what that community does in their bedroom. Honey if some folks knew what i did in mine i would be in quarentine. Some of us so called straight people are closet homos and are scared of being turned out. I really think that someones sexuality is a big part of them but it is not the only part. Be confident in who you are gay or straight and forget what others think. If you run your life according to someone elses views when will you ever get your own way!!!!

I think a lot of people just think that if they are around gays or lesbians they may get hit on. That's what i thought at first, but now some of my good friends are gay or lesbians. To me as long as they don't try nothing I'm good. But once they try it; keep away from me. Just kidding. I would tell them that it ain't gonna happen don't even try it.

it's not that they are scared of them. people always shy away from things they don't understand. we were always taught that this is wrong! i still don't really understand it, but i like to think as long as someone is being good to me what they do is their own business.

Not sure how other people feel, but me personally, I love lesbians. I want to be one in my next life. I just don't enjoy the mean, angry lesbians.

no one is "afraid" of them....it's just that it makes them feel akward being around them.....well at least that depends on the person. or just simply because its against their morals!! it's not that they won't socialize with them it's just strange to that person!
