Usually something that small costs in the range of $40-$60 but being a female, you can walk in looking cute and giggle a little and im sure the price will go down to something more comfortable for you. You can also go visit the place a couple of times before you get it done and talk so some of the guys working, try and become a regular face and when the time comes to get it, they will remember you and not be so rough on the price.
It also depends on where you go to get it and the quality you want, obviusly if the whole place looks like it is ran by bikers or thugs then it might not be a place you want to go unless your into that.
I paid $100 for writing on my forearm and $50 for a small piece on my chest, it really depends on how well you can talk to the people working.
If they bring the price down, make sure you tip the guy just in case you want to come back for another one.

The cost depends on the size, the design, and the location. Usually anywhere from $50 to several hundred.

Depends on the shop, I would check with your local tattoo shops and see if you can go in and they can give you a price, also tell you how long it will take, but the more ink and color the more it's going to cost !

i think the basic is maybe $40 now...maybe a little bit cheaper. gone are the days of $5 tattoos. the price went up because they open a new needle everytime...money covers the cost of equipment

I depends on the size (how small are we talking?) and what color ink is being used. Although some artists will charge by how long the tattoo takes.

I have seen them start from $50 and then I have seen work up to $10,000.
The larger and more detailed the design, the more you will pay.
I payed $150 for mine (10 years ago) and its an average arm piece. What you are asking for I cannot see spending more then $125 for.

It depends on the size and the legal status of the tatoo artist. Illegal artists are cheaper but you run the risk of infection and other complications.

shouldn't be too expensive and that kind of tat you can have any apprentice do it for a lot less than a 'real' artist. I know of a woman who wont do anything smaller than 6 inches, she's serious about her artwork.
