i have this problem w/my pc tower get's arlarm(bell's) ringing,it stop's when i move the mouse a round...i've tryed getton' a hold of ibm & they haven't got in touch w/me.. and i've asked a lot of other people & they don't know whatz wrong...pls nutting mean or nasty...thkz 4 ur input & feed bk...

sounds like a program is ringing alarm bells after a fixed amount of time, for some reason.

Try to eliminat the possibilities, close all active programs using task manager and on the bottom right had side of your start bar and wait and see if you still get an alarm...

another thing it might be is a noisy screensaver, make sure that your screensaver is disabled and see if that makes a difference.

Try the IBM email and see if they have live help, If not try the search button on internet explorer and type in noise in cpu tower and do the research I hjave found some great answers just be doing a search. Good luck!

i think u can get rid of the ringing bell option from the bios
restart pc press f2 or delete to enter the bios and find the option cuz i dont remember the exact option for it

It sounds like a virus, unfortunately. Is your antivirus up-to-date? You should scan your computer for viruses.

upgrade from that crappy ibm. and get anything but another crappy ibm.

Seriously, Do you have fax software installed?, do you have a calendar that is set to remind at a certain time? if not, ?????????????????????????
