Hi! You also failed to mention what grade you are in. If it is an upper class, I assume high school level, you can generally take a test (in most states) that will allow you to be promoted. However, you MUST show a strong improvement during the first part of this school year, for anyone to even hear your request for the test. So, STUDY! Complete homework assignments, and try for extra credit work. Take your improvement remarks from your teachers to the guidance counselor and request the test to promote you. Good luck. Work hard and you will reap the rewards!

depending on what your right grade is, then yes.
they would really have to evaluate you after you failed, however. failure is not nessasarily an automatic ticket to a lower grade, almost 100% of the time you will just repeat the grade. but i have seen people repeat the same grade, 2 and 3 times. theres one man that took 7 years to go from 9th grade through 12 grade. 7 years to graduate high school! imagine!! but this guy was like, dirt dumb. good luck fooling them. theres not alot of people out there who are that bad.
...wait, are you saying, you've already failed, and you want to get back into your origonal grade? its very hard. and there was a reason why you fell back a grade. it will probably take several years for you to get back where you need to be. keep opting to take summer school, the person that told you to take your GED was right. once you get old enough, study up, and take it. its hard, but you can do it. that way you dont even have to worry about catching up. alot of people will tell you a GED is not the same as a high school deploma, but unless you plan on going to a college, it really doesnt make one difference or the other.
i thought you wanted to be a grade lower than everybody else. it sounded like you hadnt failed yet, but you were thinking about doing it this year, just to get to a lower grade you wanted to be in. WEIRD!!

It might be possible for your parents to go to the school board and ask them to let you take the finals over for the grade you failed, but that probably won't work. If you failed it was for a reason and they felt you weren't ready for the more difficult studies of the next grade. Sorry

What do you mean "If you failed"? Did you fail or not? You got your report card at the end of June. It tells you there.
If you skip ahead into your "right" grade, then you will likely just fall farther and farther behind. Probably there are key math and language skills you need to master before being able to cope with a higher level curriculum.

Yes. Summer school or alternative education through the community college. Or heck, just take the GED. You don't have to have a classic education, just the equivalent.
