i am trying to find out about how old a silver fork is. the only think on the bak is some emblems.help me?

the emblems are of a lion, an old shield and swords,an old english F,and the side of a womans heads,like off of a broch.

if it is silver that is called a hallmark
look up British silver hall marks in google and look for the hallmark you just described
the hall mark will tell you the exact year and where it was made
if it isn't British then try your country and you will have to go to individual countires

sounds english take it to a silversmith for evaluation or an auction house

Search the web for silverware, and/or bring it to a china shop where they sell silverware, they would know.
