in a simple sentence it is a test to judge ur quickness of thought, logical reasoning, and communication skill..... i believe that you should have also mentioned for which entrance are you asking for..... anyway.... and nomatter how much books you practice one can only sharpen his/her aptti skill but can't learn it like just another subject......
