Well sure if the Steelers were MY team I'd say they won fair and square too............. but they didn't really did they?

When you have so many bad calls made at a critical point that all go against one team and when the other team's victory will make tens of millions more for the NFL in revenues, you have to be extremely suspicious at least.

To put is mildly, the Superbowl (and all us NFL fans) deserve better officiating than that crap.

That being said, I hail from Vancouver originally, therefore I am a lifelong Seahawks fan and the Steelers have been one of my favorite teams since the 1960s. I was "conflicted" to say the least. The Hawks deserved better than they got. The Steelers stole it fair and square though, and they had a fantastic season, miraculous playoffs and they did deserve the rings. It was the stuff sports movies are made of. It was vintage Steelers.

But a rematch? The Seahawks obviously suffered from "rookie jitters" first time to the Big One, after all. They showed everyone who loves football, (except for the most rabid Pittsberg fan) that they not only belonged in the Big One but they came within a hair of taking home the silverware.

I think a rematch (at the end of the season) would be splendid. I have to say I think that Seattle wins by a nose in this one, would just love to see it go down..........

Seahawks would likely lose again to the Steelers. Good teams do sometimes get away with some bad plays and still win.

Bottom line. The better coach is in Pittsburgh. When faced with adversity Cowher keeps his team focused. By halftime of the Superbowl, Holmgren was already whining about the refs and out of his game, evidenced by the poor play calling and clock management in the second half. The Steelers were having a bad day of it but Cowher kept them in the game applying the Marty Schottenheimer, "One play at a time" approach.
Seattle would fare even worse in a rematch. This Steeler team now has great experience gained from their tear thru the playoffs. The poor play in the Super Bowl has left them hungry to pick up what was left on the field.

I don't like the steelers, and don't care about the hawks, but the refs didn't make as big of an impact as people say. The Matt Hassleback managed the clock poorly.

And Bettis and Randle El arn't big losses. I respect Bettis for his career and good-guy-edness, but lately he was just good for using his weight to punch through on 3rd and short. Randle El is a walking trick play and nothing more. The Skins wasted a lot of money on him, especially as he's not even going to start (start being top 2 WR). Pick up of Santonio Holmes is nice. BUT, their D is what carried them anyway. Steelers did loose Kimo but atleast in pre-season they seem to keep the pressure (though they didn't seem to be clicking as they usually do).

Seahawks lost Hutch (:D, good for my vikings) but gained Nate Burleson (:(..bad for my vikings) and Julian Peterson (debated player, but so far seems effective) and Mike Green

I'd say Seahawks would win because of offseason changes and they seem to still be in a good rythm, while Steelers seem to have lost some of their old rythm (pre-season, but the couple series starter are out, they play nearly the same regular season, just with offensive guys playing a BIT safer)

Face it Seahawks , YOU LOST FAIR AND SQUARE!!!! Steelers would take 'em down again, (but then again, Hasselbeck had a lot of pent up rage at the post game press conference. That would be a great re-match)

Seahawks will still lose..because Mike Holmgren should've just stayed where he belonged...and not have taken Hasslebeck along with him cause he would be a good reason for Brett Favre to retire...Yeah, I'm still an angry Packer fan.

The Bus didn't play every game, he was great. Randal-El is good but the Steel Curtain is still strong enough without them to get a new championship.

There are too much talent to have another great season!!

Leo from Mexico!!

It doesn't matter who left the Steelers. We still have Big Ben!!! He's the whole team anyway. We don't need anyone but him. Oh, and of course, Hines Ward!!! Go Steelers!!!!!!!!!

Seattle would probably win now, because Bettis and Randel-El are no longer with the Steelers, but Shaun Alexander is still with Seattle.
