I think he did all kinds of drugs, and it would take some convincing to get me to believe he didn't have a serious coke habit at one point. He's also a drinker and has had what, 6 DUIs? Pot is the least of his problems. The repetition is the result of lack of training and being inarticulate, not marijuana use.
