Pythagorean theorem states if x and y are legs of the triangle xyr then the distances of those legs form an equation x^2 + y^2 = r^2

x or y are always "adjacent" and "opposite". Adjacent is the leg of the triangle nearest, opposite is the leg of the triangle that's farthest. r is always the hypotenuse (the diagonal leg).

If A is the angle between x and r, and B is the angle between y and r then

sin A = y / r
tan B = x / y
cos B = y / r
cos A = x / r
sin B = x / r
tan A = y / x

As a instructor i have were given self belief what you're doing is basically common incorrect to no longer discuss stupid. If she will be able to't do the artwork she would not deserve the grade and he or she needs to flunk out. As a count number of ethics you're able to need to inform her that she is on her own from this aspect and that if she needs help to get it from the coach. Does she anticipate to purchase her way out of problem at the same time as some aspect she says is danger-loose falls aside and kills someone? Are you going to take the blame basically through actuality she is collaborating in you for a sucker sturdy now.

For a while, as an experiment, go back to the very fundamentals, and just spend some time with it (though it may appear as if you know it very well !).... some extra familiarity creeps in you which would make things much easy, and more fun ! Tell, if it works !

sinA = (y/r)
cosA = (x/r)
tanA = (y/r)

x^2 + y^2 = r^2
3^2 + 4^2 = 5^2
9 + 16 = 25
25 = 25
So that is correct

sinA = (3/5)
cosA = (4/5)
tanA = (3/4)
sinB = (4/5)
cosB = (3/5)
tanB = (4/3)

The only way you are going to get math is by doing it with YOUR OWN HANDS. You are not going to get it by listening to your teacher. You are not going to get it by reading the book. And you are not oging to get it by asking about it here.

YOU HAVE TO JUST SIT DOWN AND DO THE PROBLEMS WITH YOUR OWN HANDS WITH PAPER AND A PENCIL AND WITHOUT A CALCULATOR.

Trust me on this! It took me YEARS to figure this out!
