I understand how you feel b/c everyone is so into the baby that you just seem to feel left out. The big thing for me was always everyone wanting to hold my baby to where I would start to miss it even if it was in the same room as me. What you need to do is just express to him that you are very happy that he is so excited about the baby and really enjoying the bundle but you would like him to spend time with you also. You could even tell him while the baby is napping or something that you would like to spend some quality time just you and him. It's hard to do but you still have to make time for the two of you! Your baby is just the new attraction. Trust me it will wear off. If I were you I would just enjoy it now while it last b/c soon after it wears off you will have to do it all on your own lol

I totally understand....this is your new life though! And if you think it's bad now just wait until after you have the baby. People will care more about your boyfriend and child then you! You are now a mom...you will probably be unappreciated and invisible for a long time now. I know it's sad but it's the truth. Other than my family (they are mostly women) no one cares to ask about me...how I'm doing or what I'm doing. It's always...how's the husband and the baby?? Sorry to be straight forward but this is just the way it is! Contact me if you ever need to talk. --Lindsey

The baby is a helpless human being, who is completely dependent upon you for his or her well being. Everyone is anxious, worried and excited about the baby, and they can't physically see if the baby is doing all right. They look at you and can tell if you are O.K. or not. That said, as a pregnant woman, you should be pampered and well taken care of. If your boyfriend doesn't do it on his own, let him know that a relaxed and happy mommy makes for a relaxed and happy baby.

Because they are all excited about the baby. Talk to your boyfriend and family, let them know that you are glad they are excited and concerned about the baby. Let them know that you are a person too, and you need some of their attention and concern as well. Let them know that their actions make you feel invisible and you are hurt by their actions.

...girl! better be thankful...at least he's concern about the baby...i'm 29 weeks pregnant and the father of my baby, my ex bf ...we broke up then later i found i was pregnant is not even calling to check on me...to see if i'm taking care of myself or eating right or if i'm going on my prenatal check ups...no concern or support at all...no calls no messages no nothing not even support from his family...so at least your boyfriend is a real MAN because he is concerned about the life you guys have both created.

Because the baby is helpless and you are not. Grow up some and think about that baby you are going to have and how at your mercy it is right now.
