Because in the last few years, it's become okay to become a megalomaniacal freakin' psycho-loudmouth showboater, and some guys just have no class. They guy can play ball, but it'd be a lot more impressive if he showed a little humility and a little gratitude to the people around him. Chad's nobody without a team to open up the field and deliver the ball.

85 not top 5?

In no order
Moss
Owens
Harrison
Holt
Chad Johnson

ok, maybe in that order WHEN everyone is top of their game

I swear if you put steve smith up there.......>_>...he has not been as consistant as CJ. Give him time and he may prove it, but for now it's just a break-out season and nothing more

well, enough of a steve smith rant, I'm still sore about madden 07 making those 5 guys and Smith rated all the same

Touchdowns arn't everything. The Bengals have TJ Whosyourmama who is one of the best 2nd string recievers in the league (only Reggie Wayne is better IMO --Boldin/Fitz don't count because they're both top 10 guys and neither is really 1st or 2nd). Also, if they're close Rudi punches it into the endzone alot.

Chad Johnson is a great football player. He is one of the top 5 receivers playing today. He is not the best however and with all the talk about Owens and Moss he just wants to be noticed.

And.... its working, we're talking about him now.

Well, i usually think and act like I'm the best all the time because it gives me confidence, and it probably gives him confidence on the field.

You have to know that Chad Johnson is the type of person that want's a good challange as well, so him saying he's the best, everyone will want to prove him wrong and will be giving him a challange

He, I'm the biggest rice fan in the world. But c'mon let's be serious with each other, Chad Johnson is turning into a MONSTER on the field. Decent running back and Decent QB makes him a huge threat every play. Let's see what happens. P.S. cowboys will do good, thanks to Owens

He's a top flight NFL receiver. To get to that level you have to be confident in your skills. Chad is extremely confident and doesn't mind telling people how good he is. The thing is, he usually backs it up. Playing with Carson Palmer this year, I can see Chad getting 13 td's

He is an outstanding player but like way too many of this era he is very self absorbed, cocky and arrogant. Not a humble bone in his body.

I find him no more arrogant than Bungals fans. Oh, wait a minute, that is pretty arrogant isn't it. I think me wants to be T.O., but just doesn't have the talent.
