Not sure what is in those particular shakes. How about taking those to a registered dietian so they can see what they contain and they can tell you if they are good for you. They can also tell you how to gain weight and muscle mass in a healthy way. There are some trainers who are good and others who are air heads sorry. Get a good one who reads real journals and not just junky magazines. You can learn how to build up your body in a healthy way and not a damaging way. I am happy to see you are thinking about health and not just looks. You also need to think about your body type and your age. If you eat well and exercise this may be something that corrects itself as you age. Check with your doctor to make sure you do not have a medical problem and go from there. It is okay to accept ourselves for who we are. There is beauty and attractiveness in all body types in both women and men. If you focus on heath you should be good. That is what it is about anyway. You look good when you are healthy whatever point that is for your particular body type and genetics. We cannot force things. Some of us are meant to be thin and others heavy and it depends on our age at points in our life sometimes. Just focus on health. I amsure you look great when you are fit and eat well. Chemical food is not usually good for us. Focus on food from the natural sources. Not from a can or powder.

I may be bad in the long run. There have been no long term studies of what weight gain shake can do to the body in the long run. However, if you are only using it for a short period of time, I don't believe that it will do any damage. Just like everything else, use in moderation.

Things like protein shakes that are intended to build mass are usually ineffective. What your body needs is often recieved in your diet, and what is extraneous from things like those shakes is passed in your urine. Avoid creatine....creatine is used for POWER, not mass. And all the creatine that you require is stored in your body and cant be "loaded."
If you want to gain weight, the principle is "consume more calories than you burn" This doesn't necessarily mean eating McDonald's everyday. Just perhaps add an extra meal each day, but keep eating things that are good for you like lean meats, vegetables, etc.

Before becoming further immersed in the powder drinks and such, you may want to visit your doctor and see if they can run some blood work to make sure all of the results are within normal. If you have a compromised liver, kidneys etc, you never know what kind of negative impact it will have on you until it is too late.

If you want a bigger stomach, keep drinking, it's only adding calories. If you want to gain some muscle, start working out and drinking whey protein- 2 grams per pound of your current body

I doubt it's very good. Don't worry about gaining weight, just be healthy. Work out to gain muscle. Gaining weight that's fat isn't good for you.
