Yes, you can go to college but contrary to the previous post, you can NOT get financial aid if you are a convicted felon. Talk to someone in the schools financial aid office about scholarships and loans... or you could pay for it yourself.

I see nothing wrong with bettering yourself, if you are truly on the straight and narrow this time to stay out of jail! Going to college requires an application, if that question is on the application, if you've committed any felonies, it's for a reason, and might not qualify you. Go to:
http://ed-web3.educ.msu.edu/infostu/forms/endorsement.pdf#search='felonies%20on%20college%20application%20michigan'
and read more on the subject....
An applicant to a College of Education endorsement and licensure program who has been convicted as an adult of a felony or misdemeanor involving moral turpitude may be denied field placements or recommendation for certification. An applicant who has been convicted of such a felony or misdemeanor at any point in his or her academic program will be granted a hearing prior to a final decision regarding (1) admission to a College of Education graduate program, or (2) recommendation for certification. Such a hearing will be initiated by the College of Education and referred to the Hearing Board of the Graduate Education Policy Committee for review and recommendation.
