Listen, you need to keep telling yourself that you are a beautiful person. I remember growing up having a tummy, and for nothing I could not get rid of the darn thing. One day (at 21 years old) I said enough is enough, I'm going to get rid of this punch. I exercised for 5 days a week for 6 months. I lost a lot of weight but I got rid of the tummy, I ate as normal though. You cannot lose the tummy without losing weight in other areas. I was always a skinny chick but that tummy was getting to me. After losing majority of fat, I've changed my routine (some years later) to gaining muscle, I've gone back to my original weight (still being skinny) but with a flat tummy and I'm loving it.
Only you can make you happy, you have to learn to love who you are, accept yourself because not a thing in the world is wrong with you. I could remember looking at myself in the mirror when I was your age and saying I am an ugly person. Now I look at myself in the mirror and say I am beautifully and wonderfully made, because I am and so are you.

well if youre insecure about yourself, the only thing you can do is gain confidence. you CAN change how you look and feel, but you must do this for yourself. there may not be enough time in the day for you to excercise, but youre young so i am sure you have a high metabolism. start to eat healthy but cutting ONE fatty food from your diet (dont try to take everything out, you will start to crave things). start off with not eating ice cream/candy/soda/etc...and then continuously cut these fatty foods out. you will find that when you eat healthy nutritious foods you will have a much higher energy level. and about the hair...i had that frizzy hair too. best thing to do is put extra conditioner on your hair in the shower and let it sit a few minutes before you rinse it out. next, get some Frizz Ease or some other frizz free product and spread it all throughout you hair, concetrating first on the roots. next you should blow dry your roots with a brush, and let the rest of your hair air dry if you dont want to take the time to blowdry all of it. once it is all dry, get a flat iron (they cost like $15 or $20 at Sally's), and flat iron the roots as much as you can. you should get NO frizzes then. let me know how that works

We all come in different shapes and sizes. You have to find yourself beautiful just the way you are and don't let anyone or anything make you think any differently. Look in the mirror everyday and tell yourself that you are wonderful just the way you are. You are only 11 and you have so many changes to go through, so just enjoy where you are in your life right now and be happy with who you are right now, things change so much and remember that true beauty comes from within!

Hon, your at a very tuff age. Same age as my daughter. But you are by no means fat! Don't worry as you grow things will change. I have a bad hair day every day!!! My daughter gets upset when her hair dosen't do what she wants either. So we work together to see what we can do. You sound like such an intelligent girl! Hang in there and believe in yourself. You are great at explaining things! I'm impressed for someone your age to get out here and ask for help!! That show great courage! Hang in there hon, you've got spirit!

You are at a age where girls start to pick themselves apart. From your height and weight I can tell you that you are not fat. As far as your hair goes, that happens to everyone. The funny thing is that all the girls walking around in school are probably thinking the same things about themselves. Look for the positive things in yourself and think about those things instead.

You sound pretty normal to me... but then I don't know anybody who actually likes everything about themselves... and I defintiely don't know a single person who's hair does what they want-mine NEVER does, but I've just learnt to live with it. If you're looking at all the 'pretty' girls, then just remember that they are probably 100x more insecure than you, but they are just covering it up! If you are worried about your size, then find out what colours, styles and patterns look good on you and dress/do your hair so that you look and feel your best, and to higlight your best bits/diminish the bits you don't like so much.

Famous words "this to shall pass". I'm currently 23. Now that I am out of school I look back at some of my pictures and can't believe I used to think I looked horrible. There's a lot of preassure to look a certain way through your whole life. Now that I'm older, I have learned to listen to the people who really care about me and what they think about me and not what evey tom dick and harry think. Later you will look back and say, wow I looked great, and I still do. Take pride in every part of your body, because it is yours.

well firstly . . you have to realize that despite what you see in magazines or on TV . . no one is perfect!! you have to learn to love yourself (the good and the bad)!!
I quite sure that at your height and weight, you are not fat!! . . but if you are concerned about your tummy, try doing some crunches every night and see if that helps . . .
and with your hair . . try a different hair style by parting it a different way . . or either use some gel or hairspray to get it to lay down . . .
I hope this helps!!

You sound normal to me. However, I think you are obsessing about your looks way to much for an 11 year old. If you take care of yourself physically and mentally now, I can guarantee you you will be happy and self confident in the future.
