brian is the only one that really talks to stewie? why is that?

Its just how the creaters wanted it to be done...you here louis sometimes tell stewie to not threaten her and whatnot and also...everyone can understand the dog and not the baby?!?!

Because it's kinda like the Rugrats. The babies can really talk, and when they do, the adults aren't able to understand them, but when the adults talk, they can understand every word. I guess it's the same on Family Guy, except the adults can understand Stewie, yet are unaware/unfazed of his plots to destroy Louis or his incredible intelligence, lol. I love the show.

I LOVE THAT SHOW!! In fact I am watching it right now- Stewie is getting fatter. I think it is because adults cant understand babies, but maybe the dog understands him just find... they understand Brian....

Brian is a "ENHANCED" canine. He does a great many things "normal" dogs can't,,, like communicate with Stewie.

No. the element is that he's meant to be the character who tries to apply good judgment above emotion. he's the counter to Peter, who makes use of emotion without good judgment. As a side notice, in American Dad (the offshoot of relatives guy) Haley the daughter is likewise an Atheist. Oh, and characteristic you heard?

I LOVE THAT SHOW!! i have tivo and i record it all the time!! idk y they dont talk 2 him all that much.....Brian is my favorite character besides Stewie!! :)
