saddleblanket pattern this looks like south western or navajo a woven pattern some type of cotton actually it looks like twine. I am looking for the pullover hooded version and maybe if i had a name for it i might be able to find it and purchase one

they are from mexico actually! It had some Proper Name (like a person's) but the name escapes me at the moment

they are ponchos and the thrift stores are full of them and very reasonable prices too
