elasticity implies the amount one of the strings can stretch or perhaps the actual hardiness of the strings before they wear out(?). elastic intensity implies the strength and severity of the rebound and movement.
your second question is the rub. That's the thing that the big debate is over. Will this be the connecting theory. . .the theory of everything.

Yes, the elegant universe. And look into the 'M' Theory as well. It mathematically ties the string theories into one theory of a tangible multi-layered reflection. Though still highly philosophical, the matrix design of a multi-planed universe proper only mutually affected by a nomadic gravitational force is very fun to think about.
((sorry this has nothing to do with elasticity))

i'm waiting till it really is examined. Now that the LHC is very just about waiting, the subsequent few years might want to produce some measurable effects that make certain no matter if string theory and M theory make precise predictions. i have also by no skill heard it noted as "God theory." that is a unifying theory of physics because it explains the 4 forces, yet that would not advise it solutions all of our questions concerning the organic universe.

Well i think the rule of thumb is if you Wyn it up to tight it could snap but if you let it go to loose it could unravel .. 8 ) .I,m no expert of course but that's my Theory ..As for the Big Bang and the Big Crunch Theory why does everything have to be about sex these days ??.. Expanding or Rewinding ..bottom line just go with the flow .. My waist line is testament to that .. 8 )

There are 7 essential versions of string theory. 6 of them are divergent, and one of them tries to unify the other six. All of them are mathematically sound, and nobody has published experiments to conclusively establish any one as dominant.

I just don't know, I can't get my ball of string unwound, its nothing but a big jumble of knots.
