the constellation, not necessarily the star itself. as in- beings from a planet in the sirius system.

there is an abundance of evidence, i chose not to include it in order to keep the question as open as possible.

The idea is absurd. Anything coming here from anywhere near the star Sirius would be in space for thousands of years, and no organic molecule with the complexity of DNA could survive.

The missing links are the fossils of the transitional species, here on Earth. They have not been found yet. If there was DNA on Sirius, it's toast by now.
