AIM in some aspects...but Yahoo! has some stuff over AIM....

I use yahoo messenger but I do know friends who use AIM. I cannot compare as have never used AIM.

Yahoo Messenger, Given!!!! i like aim but it isn't as good as Yahoo messenger

AIM--as far as I know, absolutely none of my friends are on Yahoo messenger. So AIM's the obvious choice.

since I can't get Yahoo messenger to work and AIM does, I'll have to go with AIM.

Yahoo messenger by far!!!! You can change your backgrounds if you want. The smileys are 100 times better.
Trust me, I have spent some time look at the smileys, they sometimes make me laugh outloud. Plus, it has an alert that can tell you when you recieve an e-mail.
