I'm a raiders fan and would love to see Walters start but lets face the facts the Raiders have some older players that came to Oakland to win the the Superbowl (Moss, Brooks, Sapp, Jordan) and since they are the stars of the team they need someone with experience. If the raiders lose 3out of their first four games I'm sure Art shell will give Walters a chance to go some real experience during the regular season.

Crap, who knows? Brooks can be good if the O-line can give him some time and they can get a running game going. Brooks needs time in the pocket. Walter may be the QB of the future, but are we talking about a 9-7 future or a 13-3 future? I don't think any of the 3 are the "answer." We need to dig up the next Tom Brady/Matt Hasselbeck/Peyton Manning, etc.
It might actually be better to let Brooks go out and eat crap for a little while first. They pull him after some crappy games and put in Walter, he might feel a little less pressure if the expectations have been downgraded. Then he can just go get beat up and get a little experience under his belt. If he's the future, he's probably next year's future.
The wildcard in all that is Moss. If he shows up to play and starts actually *running* his routes rather than pissing around, he could open up the entire D-backfield.

I am a die hard Raiders fan........I am 25 and I have picture of me at 3 wearing Raiders cloths. I would wait to see how Brooks does before asking for Walter. What is one more year of sucking going to hurt? Now if Brooks doesnt pan out this year then it would definelty be a good idea to give Walter the chance. Just my opinion.

No question Walter should start! He is the best QB on the Raiders. When the Raiders picked him it wasn't to be the QB of the future...it was because he was still there and the best player available. They got the QB of the future though. I thought he would get a shot until Brooks was signed and I though that was a waste!!!

Let Brooks start the first couple of game and if it doesn't work out, give Andrew Walter a shot. Personally, I don't think either of them is a solution for our Raider Nation. We need a QB bad.

I really dislike the raiders, but Walters should start, Tui should be number 2 and Aaron Brooks should be locked in a closet, trust me you'll be better off.

Right now, aaron 'the black man' Brooks, should and will be the starter. Raiders running game is aight, but they need a qb that can dance around a lil. Brooks has a rocket launcher, lets see if him and moss become buddies

Not this year, but I don't think Brooks is a long term answer for the team. I think Walter might get the chance later year or next year.

hey man..im gonna take this one seriously...im not a raider hater...im a vikings fan...and i am mad that you guys stole the best receiver in the game and pretty much the best receiver ever to play....but aaron brooks is a decent QB...he just makes a lot of stupid decisions.....alot of them.......so I think he should start and get a chance...but if he fails......then yea....walter should start

aaron brooks is a great QB who was hurt by a bad offensive line in NO for many years. he is an above average QB and should be the one starting for the raiders... almost no one on the raiders team will be there ina few years.. they need to tear everything down and start a-new
