I rather suspect EVERYBODY in the world is embarassed by their race, gender, ethnicity, religion, family, country (you name it) at one time or another.

Yes, actually people of all races embarrass me at times because you can know them one on one and they are great to be around, but then you get out in public and it's like they have to take on their "race image" and that drives me crazy - I don't become a KKK person just because I'm white when I get out in public, so I don't understand why my black friend who speaks great English has to turn to ghetto black lingo when we are out together; or why my Mexican friend all of a sudden acts like he doesn't know any English when we're out. Doesn't make sense to me. I'm content with who I am and I am the same no matter where I'm at - I don't have to put on a "race" show. And if I did, I'd be labeled a racist and they wouldn't want to go out with me, and if I say anything to them, then I'd be labeled a racist and they wouldn't want to go out with me - so it becomes a catch 22 - so it's pretty much a universal problem I would assume. My Korean friends are more like me though, they just stay the same no matter what. My gay friends, especially some of the guys, really turn on the the syrup when we're out and yet at the house you'd never know, I don't understand that either. So, go figure.

certain. And it has befell the following. There are some amazingly uneducated human beings (of all ethnicities) the following on Y!A...yet i am going to admit that uneducated and racist white human beings worry me the most. What really embarrasses me is their bland assumption that all and dissimilar different Anglos will believe them, that it really is a "generic" element to be that way. Or that you're one way or the different inferior, as an Anglo, in case you do not agree that Anglos are one way or the different being "oppressed" in u . s . of america. We could all bear in mind that once different anybody is being idiots, the idiocy belongs to them, now to not us.

Sometimes, yeah. But I just keep telling myself that not all white people are that stupid. Mostly I don't pay any attention to race cause believe me, stupidity and ignorance doesn't discriminate as far as color goes.

I think the human race is just one big source of embarrasement. Even more so when particular humans claim to be "superior". That is just so lame it makes me want to hide.

No because each person, is their own person. If they embarrass themselves, that's their embarrassment, not mine.
