Of the Great Lakes, Lake Michigan is the only one completely inside the US. The Great Salt Lake is the largest lake after the Great Lakes. Don't know about the others...I'd imagine Lake Okechobee in Florida and Lake Pontchartrain in Louisiana are on the list. I'll bet there's some enormous lakes in Alaska.
Interesting question...

Lake Superior (an international body of water) is the largest freshwater body in the world, and the largest lake in the United States.
It is followed by:
Lake Huron
Lake Michigan
Lake Erie
Each of these are international lakes, with the exception of Lake Michigan.

Lake Michigan, Great Salt Lake, Lake Okeechobee, Salton Sea.
This meaning that the lake is totally found inside the United States of America - otherwise I would include other Great Lakes which border Canada. Canadian Lakes easier.
