these days it has been my experience that people try to lay blame wherever they can get away with it.
In serious instances, I prefer to try to sort out what's what, but in not so serious instances (ie petty arguments), I will likely say something like, "it's just not worth the effort, let's just stop arguing"

its got a lot to do with, if I'm guilty, or not!!! Ive taken the blame before just to get a buddy out of the heat. on the other hand it also has a lot to do with what I'm taking the blame for!!!lets be honest...being a good friend and being an idiot are not the same thing...
most probably blame...

I would take the blame because blaming is false accusation and that person could get in worse trouble or something

That would depends on the situation. if it's my fault, I would gladly take the blame than push it to someone who's not involved. But if it has nothing to do with me, why should I take the blame for others.

If I were guilty i would gladly take the blame. I would take the blame if one of my loved ones were to get punished for something minor. If they were guilty of something bad then they deserve what they get. I hate to see anyone get hurt if it isn't necessary. I have taken the blame for some of my sisters so they wouldn't get punished but it was never anything serious. just petty things.

Depends on if I am actually to blame or not. If I did it, I'm not afraid to take the hit for it, conversely, if I didn't do it, I'm NOT going to accept the blame for something I didn't do.

I'd take the blame if it was my fault. I try not to assign blame unless I can do so constructively and it will help the situation.
