I'd suggest you use powder liners. Ger some dark coloured eyeshadow such as slate, gray or black. Wet a flat brush and pick up some powder. Start with the top corner of your eyes, working in. if you have large eyes, end halfway through your eyes. Brush your lower eyes in short strokes, halfway through the mid of your eyes. Gradually build the colour for the intensity that you like to achieve. Finish with 2 coats of mascara.

make sure you have a good eye liner. I know it may seem ridiculous to spend a lot, but it's so worth it, trust me. make sure it's really sharp and try lining your top with your eyes open and closed to see what's easiest for you. I find that I need to do both. Do it before any other eye make up, especially mascara. Do not pull your eyelid down!! That will stretch your skin and give you wrinkles later. Do it gently. The most important thing is a good eyeliner. I really like the ones from mary kay. And remember, practice makes perfect!

It also depends a lot upon what kind and what colour of eyeliner you wear. A shadow liner or pencil gives a softer look, and can be applied lightly or dramatically. This is harder to achieve with liquid liner, which usually always looks dramatic. A gel or cake liner is between the two, but it all takes a bit of practice to put on. Depending upon your colouring, you can also look casual for day or dramatic for night. Generally, brown and greys can look great for day, whereas black should really be saved for evenings, unless you are dark. Dark blue is nice for blue eyes or grey; green or amethyst for brown eyes or hazel, and brown for blue eyes as well. You have to experiment a bit to find the colours for you, but visiting a department store cosmetics counter is a safe bet to try them all with the help of a sales assistant. Try MAC or Chanel or Lancome. What you don't like, you don' t have to wear or buy; and you can see which colours and effects are best for you.

My best advice is try to get a felt tip, not crayon and get a thin one.

The liquid eyeliner that comes with the pen and ink style is very messy without loads of practice.

The crayon has to be kept very sharp.

The felt tip marker style, very GREAT for it's not as messy (no ink spatter in the eye or no crayon shards), never needs to be sharpened and you can get the type with a tip like a Calligraphy pen where it does large lines and skinny ones, and VIOLA, beauty at your best...that is my secret and I hope it helps you, but it's worth at try as you have nothing to lose and new, improved you to gain...with practice.

Who sells them? I know Avon does but so does the Drug store brands (ie like Maybelline Line Works Felt Tip Eyeliner)and try Department store brands, some have it as the new fall line is unveiled it may not be there but who knows?

i use pencil and i put it from the middle of my top lid to the end and then blend during the day. if you want to use liquid, it takes a bit of practice to get it straight. i buy the kind that has a really thin brush, incase i mess up its not as noticeable. also put your elbow on a table and look in the mirror and just use your wrist. start out with a tiny line and add more. its easier to make it thicker with a couple strokes of the brush, than to wash it off and start over. good luck!

It takes time.
When I used to put on eyeliner when I was younger, I looked like a show girl -it made me look over done-.
I learned that I was applying it too thick and long and eventually you get it just right.
Practice at home when you're not going anywhere, you'll get the hang of it. Makeup is like an art; it takes time :)

It takes practice. Try this. Close your eye and pull on the outer corner. Apply the liner slowly. Then use a q-tip to even it out. Hope this helps!

My advice: pull down on your lashes and THEN apply. If you apply liner without SOMEHOW smoothing out your eyelid, you will come out looking like a baby raccoon!

Good Luck!

very nicely i will prepare you. its the suitable way have confidence me, because of the fact you do no longer % to placed on too lots. finding on what your pores and skin and hair looks like relies upon on what colour you ought to use. as an occasion: I even have an quite gentle skintone, blue eyes, and lightweight blonde hair. so i'm unlikely to apply black or brown eyeliner because of the fact it stands proud way too lots. i exploit liker earth tones like blues and vegetables and on occasion gentle brown. yet once you have a dismal pores and skin tone or darkish hair and darkish eyes, i might bypass with brown or black. anyhow, i advise in basic terms doing the backside of your eye, the right is quite complicated, for me atleast. you gently placed it on the backside of your eye top above your lashes. dont be petrified of poking your eye.. it doesnt injury that undesirable. in basic terms bypass to the midsection of your eye, like the place your student is, i wouldnt bypass each and each of how for the time of. and you're good. dont use too lots.. it's going to look frightening.
